This CorePass® standard provides certification the candidate has the essential skills and knowledge requirements pertaining to infection control protocols, exposure mitigation, and regulatory adherence in high-risk environments. It is developed to, and meets NFPA 1581:2022 Standard on Fire Department Infection Control Program (4.3 Training & Education) and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Though developed to meet US requirements, this CorePass product includes international guidance on mass fatality infection control and can be also applied to other jurisdictions and provides a globally relevant certification.
